Playing Provincetown
Directed by Chad Snyder
A celebration of the bold experiment that sparked modern American theater. This original production brings to life the early days of the Provincetown Players—an extraordinary group of writers and dreamers who gathered on the Massachusetts coast in 1915 to question convention, explore radical ideas, and invent a new dramatic form. Featuring three one-act plays by Neith Boyce, Susan Glaspell, George Cram Cook, and their contemporaries—along with new material by Minnesota playwright James Lundy—Playing Provincetown revisits the revolutionary spirit that transformed the stage forever.

The Importance of Being Earnest
by Oscar Wilde • Directed by Gary Davis
This play is celebrated for its wit and repartee, parodies of contemporary dramatic norms, gentle satire of late Victorian manners. It introduces — in addition to the two pairs of young lovers — the formidable Lady Bracknell, the fussy governess Miss Prism and the benign and scholarly Canon Chasuble. Contemporary reviews in Britain and overseas praised the play's humor.

Bernhardt/Hamlet
by Theresa Rebck
Mark Twain wrote: “There are five kinds of actresses: bad actresses, fair actresses, good actresses, great actresses — and then there is Sarah Bernhardt.” In 1899, the international stage celebrity set out to tackle her most ambitious role yet: Hamlet. Theresa Rebeck’s new play rollicks with high comedy and human drama, set against the lavish Shakespearean production that could make or break Bernhardt’s career.
