Constancy
by Neith Boyce • Directed by Chad Snyder
On August 21–22, Applause Community Theatre is proud to once again participate in the Minnesota Association of Community Theatres (MACT) Fast*Fest—a celebration of theater, storytelling, and the community that brings them to life.
This year, Applause presents Constancy by Neith Boyce, a witty and remarkably modern one-act written in 1915 that explores love, fidelity, and personal freedom with a voice that still resonates more than a century after it was written.
Directed by Chad Snyder and featuring Amy Luedtke and Dustin Rupe, Constancy continues Applause's tradition of bringing thoughtful, engaging works to audiences across Minnesota.

This year's festival is especially meaningful for our Applause family. We remember our dear friend Gary Davis, whose passion for community theater touched countless lives. In 2025, Gary was honored with MACT's prestigious Fliehr Award, recognizing his extraordinary service to community theater in Minnesota. His legacy of generosity, mentorship, and love for the arts continues to inspire all of us.
For decades, Applause Community Theatre has valued its partnership with MACT and the opportunity to learn, perform, and celebrate alongside theaters from across the state. Thank you to MACT for continuing to foster excellence in community theater and for creating opportunities like FastFest that bring our vibrant theater community together.
Break a leg to every company participating—we'll see you at Fast*Fest!
